I like it because it allows us to shift our thinking as we know more. Too many people take a position and stick to it, viewing change as a sign of weakness. Comments ()
You know, I see or hear that quote every so often and think back to those times and learnings.

I love quotes--have collected many. the most recent addition to the file is: "The Truth must dazzle gradually."
—Emily Dickenson. That's how God works with me; that's how I can be most effective with others. Comments ()
Wow! I have never read that one before. That's very powerful and extremely true. It's always been a steadying influence for me to remember that there are times when we are not ready to "hear" a specific Truth yet; and it's okay.

Quotes inspire the soul. So many favs to choose from.
"I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestioned ability of a man to elevate his life by consious endeavor." ~ Henry David Thoreau By understanding timing, we can control our paddles but not the river. ~Unknown "The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves, too." ~ W.H. "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."-Margaret Mead
"Follow your Bliss!"-Joseph Campbell "I am me in my circumstances"-Ortega y Gasset ("Yo soy yo en mi circunstancia.") “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”-Marianne Williamson "Nobody goes there anymore...its too crowded."-Yogi Berra Comments ()
Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change. Dr. Wayne Dyer
