Business coaches are people developers. They don’t tell their clients what to do; they ask questions. Their message is, “You’re smart. I’ll be a mirror to help you look inside yourself, so you can not only solve this problem, but increase your capacity to successfully manage all areas of your life.” Unlike business consultants who traditionally take the approach of "this is what's wrong with your business and I will fix it for you", a business coach will help the client see where their strengths lie and will help them come up with sonlutions to areas themselves. Coaches teach, they help develop skills to bring about positive change through mentoring. They help the client realize potential, as well as recognize proclivity, then help them overcome these issues.
