Carrie Fraser

Carrie Fraser

Yoga2Life Certified Coach and Yoga2Life Mentor Coach

CARRIE FRASER is a Certified Yoga Instructor who has been teaching multiple styles of yoga for the past 14 years. She is a former elementary school teacher and a mother of two amazing girls, Cece and Lucy. If she’s not teaching/taking yoga or hanging out with her girls, you can most likely find her running on our beautiful Colorado trails. Carrie has been teaching since 1999, when yoga became a constant in her life.

Along the way, she has supplemented her training by participating in workshops and immersions with many inspiring teachers such as Ana Forrest, Shiva Rea, Tim Miller, Baron Baptiste, Dharma Mittra and Seane Corn.  Carrie teaches, C-1, C-1.5, C-2, C-3, sculpt and core restore classes. She has been involved with Teacher Trainings since 2009. Along with leading Teacher Trainings, she is also the Wellness Cleanse lead and the studio’s Programs Assistant. Recently, she has been trained as a Certified Life Coach through Coach Training Alliance and has taken on instructing others about how yoga helps to heal and transform lives through principles for effective change. Teaching yoga is a gift that Carrie is grateful for each day.  She creates a challenging class through creative flows, assistance in postures, and integrative themes. Her passion for how yoga works on all levels to connect mind, body, and heart is evident in her classes.

She teaches the importance of achieving whole life health, and transforming from the inside out. Personally, Carrie has experienced the profound mental, spiritual, and physical growth yoga has to offer. She states, “Stepping onto my mat daily has become an essential part of my life. Yoga helps me to get out of my head and into my body, therefore I am able to tap into my center, live more fully aligned with my truth and therefore give more to those around me! Yoga has been my “glue” so to speak. Practicing and teaching has held me together during some difficult times.”

As a Teacher Training lead, Carrie enjoys encouraging, empowering and supporting her students along their path. She encourages students to discover what they are capable of when they come into alignment, turn fear into faith and resistance into surrender. She says, “Delving into Teacher Training is truly an experience of a lifetime. Yoga brings whatever you need to see or work on to the surface… yoga meets you where you are at and does its job. All you have to be is open and willing!” Carrie Fraser has been practicing yoga since 1999 and received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in 2005. Currently, she has had the opportunity of combining her passion of riding horses with her passion of teaching yoga, by providing classes at a local equestrian center. You can also find her hiking and doing yoga with her “Yoga on the Rocks” group.

Carrie creates a challenging class through creative flows, assisted postures, and partner poses. She stresses the mind, body, and heart connection through guided meditation. Personally, Carrie has experienced the profound mental, spiritual, and physical growth yoga has to offer both in and out of the studio. Through teaching yoga, Carrie hopes to help her students take what they learn off the mat.
